- I'm trying not to think about my insomnia. I have had trouble sleeping for a year now. Actually, not sleeping, just falling asleep.. I love sleeping, and I sleep fine between the hours of 2am and 7am, before Emma wakes me up. When this first started happening I was a total zombie because I'm an 8 hours a nite kinda girl, but well, it's been a year and I've finally grown accustomed to it, so I've moved on from zombie to vampire. I should probably see a doctor about this.
- I'm looking forward to seeing Emma's godmother tomorrow (today?). We haven't seen each other in awhile, and I've missed her.
- I've been reading so much lately. A lot of Tolstoy, mostly... I'm currently halfway through The Death of Ivan Ilyich. I don't know what I'll get next, but I'm in the mood for a good novel. Any suggestions?
- Tonite Emma washed her own hair in the shower and it made me sad. She's been showering on her own since spring/summerish because she started asking me questions that I'm not prepared to answer and talking about boobs all of the time, so I figured it was time to stop showering with her. Usually when she needs her hair washed she takes a bath and we wash it for her, but tonite Bryan checked on her while she was showering and caught her washing it herself. How do I have a child old enough to do that?! :(
- I can't believe I only have two semesters of school left. Have we talked about that yet? I was supposed to be graduating in Spring, or so I thought, but I had been reading my degree audit wrong, so I have 2 or 3 classes to take over summer, depending on how many I take this Spring. Either way, the end is near. I'm so over school right now. I have two really hard econ classes right now that make me ragey on a weekly basis.
- So anyway, it's late. This is the part where I go to bed and try to sleep, until that gets boring, and then I watch ridiculous shit on Netflix. Bon weekend, amis!
