Some of my favorite posts from other bloggers are those that give true insight to the person behind the blog. I always find myself wondering about my favorite bloggers, and who they are, where they came from, etc.
Here's a list of a few random facts about myself. I hope you'll share a little something about you in the comments?
- I am a (typical) middle child. I have an older brother and an older sister, as well as a younger brother and a younger sister. I am still confused about how this came about, because my parents hated each other. They seriously used to joke that the only times they had sex were to procreate. Eww.
- I'm also a (typical) preacher's daughter. You've seen Footloose, right?
- I dvr 4 tv shows: Chopped, Jeopardy, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, & Anthony Bourdain's new series on CNN, Parts Unknown.
- I only just recently learned how to put gas in my car, when things went south between Bryan and I. I've always had a man around that did it for me, whether it be my dad, brother, a friend, roommate, boyfriend, etc. I go to school in Denton, about 30 miles away from where I live, and one time I needed gas while in Denton, and after I swiped my credit card, the machine asked me to "enter zip code" I was so annoyed and confused by why they thought I knew the zip code of the gas station, and I went in an asked the worker, who laughed so hard at me. :|
- I'm an economics major, and I'm a hardcore nerd over the subject. My favorite economist is Milton Friedman, but I do appreciate the fact that Adam Smith was kidnapped by gypsies and then later returned, because it speaks volumes about the kind of person who is interested in this field.
- When I was a kid I thought I was going to marry Joe Montana.
- My favorite movie will forever be Forrest Gump. It's just such a good story. I know all of the words, and I cry every time I see it, usually at the part when he visits Jenny's grave.
